Brimming with magic, the City at Christmas shines bright with dynamic light displays, festive building projections and joyful street decorations. As day turns to night every day until Christmas, you’ll get the chance to see Perth shine bright as the City of Perth’s Christmas Light Trail comes to life.

Enjoy 27 dazzling Christmas light installations and incredible decorations that will fill the Perth CBD, Northbridge and East Perth and be entertained by roving performers.

Featured on Padbury Walk is the stunning 7m Rocking Horse that forms part of the City of Perth’s Christmas Light Trail.

Join us every weekend in summer for classic Backyard Sessions thanks to City of Perth and Forrest Chase. With ice cream, fairy floss, deck chairs, kids activities, sprinklers, free towel hire and DJ’s. Relax in a cool, grassy backyard setting – you’ll feel right at home.
